Auf 208 Seiten wird versucht zu erklären, was man benötigt, um ein Schachmeister zu werden. Leider bleibt es meiner Meinung nach nur bei dem Versuch. Der Autor Andrew Soltis ist ja mittlerweile bekannt für Bücher die einen sehr vielversprechend reißerischen Titel tragen. Leider kann auch dieses Buch nicht wirklich vermitteln, was man alles braucht, um ein Schachmeister zu werden. Unterhaltsam zu lesen ist es trotzdem und in gewisser Weise auch sehr lehrreich.
