Intuition ! So lautet das Thema des Buches und vor dem Lesen habe ich mich gefragt, was man wohl über dieses Thema schreiben könnte, dass ein Buch füllt. Der Autor hat diese Aufgabe allerdings sehr gut gelöst und findet bei seinen Erklärungen immer die richtigen Worte. Ich persönlich bin mir aber ziemlich sicher, dass Intuition sehr viel mit dem persönlichem Charakter zutun hat. Sehr viele Entscheidungen im Leben treffen wir intuitiv und hier zählen vor allen Dingen die Erfahrungswerte vergangener Entscheidungsmomente in ähnlichen Situationen. Intuition ist meiner Meinung nach nichts anderes als Wissen, dass automatisch abgerufen wird. Sehen wir beispielsweise eine Stellung, in welcher wir mit Dame, Springer und Trum am Königsflügel angreifen, erinnern wir uns automatisch daran, ob diese Figurenkonstellation für uns positiv oder negativ ist. Wenn man in ähnlichen Stellungen bereits einige Male den Gegner matt setzen konnten, streben wir automatisch diese Stellungen an und unsere Intuition sagt uns, dass wird schon klappen. Aber zurück zum Buch. Ich kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Es ist allerdings eines der wenigen Bücher, bei denen der Lernwert eher gering ist. Aber darum geht es dem Autor wohl auch nicht. Vielmehr wird ein wunderbarer Einblick in die Welt der Schachspieler gegeben, die zeigt, dass am Schachbrett nicht so oft Varianten berechnet werden, wie es sich so mancher vorstellt.
